I am putting on a Come and Sing’ Faure ‘Requiem’ together with a Ukrainian anthem at SJE Arts, Oxford on Sunday 3rd April.
This war has challenged me on so many levels and I felt I wanted to do what I can do, which is make music, as my offer of help and support to those poor people caught up in this senseless war. Through their benevolence, I am delighted to be joined by:

Timings Arrive: 12.45 latest Rehearsal Start: 1pm Rehearsal Finish: 4pm Concert Start: 5pm Concert Finish: ~ 6pm Dress Code Please wear something smart for the concert (no colour scheme). You can wear what you like for the rehearsal. Repertoire Please bring a copy of the Fauré score if you have one. If you don't you can print one here or buy one here. We will be also performing a short Ukrainian piece, Prayer for Ukraine (Молитва за Україну) which is widely recognised as a spiritual anthem for the Ukraine. You need to print the score here and there is a recording below for you to practise with. We will have a Ukrainian language expert with us on the day to refine our pronunciation. |

We are not going to charge an entrance fee, as we would like all audience members to donate to the fundraising appeal.
